This is a great meal for brunch or to finish off a good dinner. It is basically kugel with chopped up apples and raisins.
Apple Raisin Kugel
1 pound of noodle -- I use elbows but you can use other if you like.
1 cup of raw sugar
1 cup heavy whip
2 apples cored, peel and cubed to medium small cubes.
1 cup raisins
While cooking the noodles start mixing the rest of the ingredients in a mixing bowl. First add the eggs and mix them so they are one consistency, than add heavy whip, sugar, apples and raisins. When your noodles are done add them to the mixture and mix it all together.
Take out a glass baking pan and butter it, pour your mixture in to the pan cover it with foil an put it in the oven for 40 minutes. After 40 min uncover and let it bake for another 20 min.
You can let it cool a little than it will be easier to serve, it will stick together better when it's little cooled.
